The University System of New Hampshire (USNH) operates five named institutions serving approximately 27,000 enrolled students annually across the state. The system comprises the University of New Hampshire-Durham, UNH Manchester, Plymouth State University, Keene State College, and the UNH Franklin Pierce School of Law, administered by a System Office in Concord and governed by a Board of Trustees.
USNH provides postsecondary education, online learning, research, and community outreach throughout New Hampshire. The system maintains geographic reach by offering classes at sites in every county and extensive online learning opportunities, ensuring access across rural and urban areas. With more than 90,000 alumni living in-state, the organisation has direct contact with hundreds of thousands of New Hampshire citizens annually.
Research activities span multiple domains including air quality, economic development, family health, teacher training, and ocean mapping. Each campus is integrated into its local community, combining teaching and service programs with first-class facilities.
