GARANT Gruppe is a marketing and purchasing association serving medium-sized businesses in the European furniture and home industry. Founded in 1956, the group brings together owner-managed retailers and tradespeople across sectors including kitchens, sleeping, bathroom, and general home goods. Its purpose is to support the profitability of specialized, small and medium-sized entrepreneurs through collaborative business models.
The group operates across six European markets: Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Spain, and Luxembourg. It counts over 1,800 partner companies in Germany alone and approximately 2,500 connected international trading partners across five country markets. The association traces its roots to 184 initial retailers.
GARANT Gruppe also runs the GARANT Academy, a training programme designed for its partner network. The organisation is structured around the principle of sustaining the success of specialized retailers and tradespeople in a competitive market.
