About

TPI Composites manufactures advanced composite wind blades and provides associated services for the global wind energy market. Founded in 1968 and based in Scottsdale, Arizona, the company has operated composite wind blade manufacturing since 2001. With over 14,000 associates and more than 6 million square feet of manufacturing operations across the United States, Mexico, and India, TPI Composites produced 6,525 wind blades in 2024, representing approximately 27% of all onshore wind blades on a megawatt basis globally, excluding China.

The company generates net sales of $1.3 billion annually through two core business lines. Its composite wind blade products are manufactured to precise specifications for leading wind turbine original equipment manufacturers, with facilities strategically positioned to minimise total delivered cost. TPI Composites' wind blade services division provides preventative maintenance, inspections, repairs, and improvements, supported by global service training centres across multiple countries.

TPI Composites operates advanced engineering centres in Denmark and Germany to support product development and innovation. The wind blades produced in 2024 are projected to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by over 264 million metric tons during their 20-year operational lifespan - equivalent to the electricity consumption of more than 55 million U.S. homes for one year.
