Team8 is a venture group founded in 2014 that builds and invests in technology companies, with a focus on cybersecurity, software infrastructure, fintech, and digital health. Rather than functioning as a traditional venture capital firm, Team8 operates a venture creation model, building companies from scratch alongside a community it calls its "Village".
The Village is a network of over 450 C-level executives, industry leaders, and domain experts who work with the firm to identify problems, develop solutions, and support portfolio companies. Team8's own team includes serial entrepreneurs, former CEOs, and founders of unicorn companies.
As of its latest disclosures, Team8 manages approximately $1.5 billion in assets and has created more than 64 companies across its target sectors. The firm is headquartered in Tel Aviv, with additional operations in New York.
