Squadio is a Team-as-a-Service (TaaS) platform founded in Saudi Arabia in 2019 by Khaled Senawy and Monther M. Kattan. It connects companies with vetted remote software engineers and provides end-to-end support covering technical consulting and HR management for engineering teams. Squadio claims to be Saudi Arabia's first dedicated platform for hiring developers and technical talent, and serves clients globally.
The platform operates a distributed network of over 11,000 engineers drawn from Tunisia, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Palestine, Nigeria, and India. Companies can use Squadio to form dedicated engineering teams, source specialised technical skills, or staff their first engineering squads - with the platform handling recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing HR management alongside technical advisory support.
Squadio's model is designed to reduce friction in technical hiring. Rather than recruiting individual engineers independently, clients access pre-vetted talent that can be assembled into teams and begin contributing quickly. The platform caters both to startups building their initial engineering capability and to enterprises requiring specialised skills for discrete projects.
