PUCPR (Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná) is a private, not-for-profit Catholic university headquartered in Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil. It has operated in higher education and research for more than 60 years and is the largest private higher education university in the state of Paraná. Beyond its headquarters in Curitiba, the institution maintains a presence in Londrina, Toledo and Maringá.
The university offers more than 70 undergraduate programs, 16 master's programs and 13 doctoral programs across its campuses. Its work spans higher education, research, and innovation and applied research, and it is a key promoter of innovation and knowledge sharing in the region. More than 100,000 students have graduated from the institution to date.
PUCPR has been placed among the top universities in Brazil in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings. It is part of the Grupo Marista network and is guided by ethical, Christian and Marist principles, with a mission focused on developing and disseminating knowledge and the comprehensive and permanent qualification of citizens and professionals.
