ManoMotion develops vision-based AI software that enables touchless human-machine interaction through hand and body tracking. Founded in 2015 by researchers from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, the company has built its technology on more than six years of prior academic research in computer vision and machine learning.
The company's core offering comprises software development kits that enable hand-tracking experiences across smartphones, AR/VR headsets, and other devices using standard cameras, alongside SaferHands, an industrial safety system designed to predict and prevent workplace accidents. ManoMotion operates across multiple sectors including extended reality platforms, industrial safety, robotics, and smart devices, supported by partnerships with NVIDIA, Google, HP, and Intel.
The company's approach prioritises software-only solutions that avoid expensive or bulky hardware requirements, aiming to make touchless interaction accessible across consumer and industrial applications.
