At L.L.Bean, we believe the more time you spend outside together, the better. Founded in 1912 by Leon Leonwood Bean, our company has been a leading multi-channel merchant of quality outdoor gear and apparel for over a century. We design products that make it easier to take longer walks, have deeper talks, and create meaningful outdoor experiences with the people who matter most.
Our culture is built on core values of Outdoor Heritage, Service, Respect, Integrity, Perseverance, and Safe and Healthy Living. We foster an inclusive work environment where everyone feels welcome and can bring their best selves to work each day. Headquartered in Freeport, Maine, our team of 'Bean Outsiders' shares a passion for the outdoors and a commitment to helping others enjoy it. From our iconic Bean Boots to our innovative outdoor discovery programs, everything we do is grounded in the belief that the outdoors brings out the best in all of us.
