Consolidated Chassis Management (CCM), founded in 2005 and headquartered in Rockaway, New Jersey, operates cooperative and interoperable chassis pools for the intermodal transportation sector. The company provides ocean carriers, motor carriers, leasing companies, and shippers with unified access to container chassis, aiming to deliver the lowest possible cost. Its model allows participants to share equipment rather than maintain individual fleets.
CCM manages a portfolio that includes the South Atlantic Chassis Pool (SACP), with its next-generation SACP 3.0 servicing locations across Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Across its operations, the company manages nearly 70,000 chassis. By consolidating assets, CCM's pooling approach enables participating companies to operate with a chassis asset base that is 25% less than what would be required without pooling.
