BeyondMath, founded in 2022, is a research-led company developing what it calls Generative Physics: a foundational AI model trained on the fundamental laws of physics to produce engineering-grade simulations. Its Generative Physics Platform trains models on first-principles physics rather than on the outputs of existing simulation runs, which the firm argues removes the data limitations of traditional solvers. The company reports that its approach can run up to 1,000 times faster than conventional supercomputing methods.
The work spans generative and foundational models, physics-informed machine learning, computational physics and high-performance computing. Target industries include automotive, aerospace, energy, semiconductors, construction, telecommunications, electronics and motorsport, with partnerships reported with major manufacturers, Formula 1 teams and aerospace innovators. Technology partners include NVIDIA and AWS.
BeyondMath raised $18.5m in seed funding from investors including Cambridge Innovation Capital, Insight Partners and UP.Partners. The company was founded by AI industry veterans and maintains its headquarters in London, with further operations in Cambridge, UK.
