Astrocade operates an AI-powered social gaming platform that allows anyone to create, share and play interactive games using natural language descriptions. Its "wish-to-game" technology turns simple text prompts into fully playable games in minutes, requiring no coding or design skills. The company's stated mission is to make interactive entertainment accessible to everyone.
The platform reached over 20 million engaged users within eight months of launch and now records hundreds of millions of monthly plays. Astrocade has raised $56M in total funding, including a Series B round led by Sequoia Capital and a Series A led by Sea, with participation from Google's AI Futures Fund, NVIDIA and other investors. The company targets a global audience.
Technical work centres on generative AI, natural language processing, AI-generated game creation and interactive entertainment technology. Astrocade was founded by brothers Amir and Ali Sadeghian and is led alongside AI pioneer Fei-Fei Li; team members come from Google Research, Meta, FAIR, Character.ai and Stanford.
